Carry On! marks the completion of a circle from Broadway back to Broadway for composer Diana Wharton Sennaar. It’s particularly fun this time because she is collaborating with her daughter, Mai Sennaar, the writer of the book.

Carry On!, a new theatrical music experience, takes place in 2020 just at the onset of the pandemic. There is an unbelievable awareness of denial, unknown anticipation that confronts reality in real time 24/7. The Carry On! characters take you back to that moment of edgy anticipation and fear and share their stories through song and AI technology with humor, truth, optimism and angst, from the frontline care provider risking life to the pre-conditioned resident that becomes compromised. We want to be a reminder that COVID is still here!
