Eri Yamamoto, who packed her bags and jetted over from Kyoto to the U.S. in '95, has become a jazz piano wizard and a composer who can turn a simple tune into a whole emotional experience. Seriously, her fingers practically dance across the keys, and it's a sight (and sound) you won't want to miss.

Now let's talk about her partner in groove, Ikuo Takeuchi. This guy knows a thing or two about rhythm. Born in Japan, he's been shaking up New York City since '88, drumming his way through countless shows and even hopping over to Europe and Japan to spread the joy of beats. If you think watching someone work magic with drumsticks is boring, you clearly haven't seen Ikuo in action.
